Track 07: From Western Woods to Beaversdam.

There's something strangely comforting about listening to The Chronicles of Narnia: Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe soundtrack in the dark.

I tend to find sanctuary in the weirdest things.

So.
I've always wanted to be like Lucy.
Why?

::She was the smallest of all. But she had the biggest heart.
::She was also brave. Braver than me. She was brave enough to face all sorts of dangers to rescue her friend and her brother who had been taken captive by a great evil. Nothing could stop her. Not wolves. Not a perpetual winter. Not a witch. Nothing. She'd go through hell to fight for those most dear to her.
::She was fearless. When Father Christmas told her that she wasn't to fight in the battle she responded..
 "I think - I don't know - but I think I could be brave enough."
::She was loyal. Loyal to her friends and family. She wouldn't even leave the side of a dear friend. A dear friend who had just died right before her eyes.
::She forgave. Her own family laughed at her and didn't believe a word she said when she expounded on the magical land she had found. Yet, after they realized she was telling the truth, instead of throwing it in their faces and rubbing it in that she was right and they were wrong, she forgave them.  And that's hard to do.
::She healed people.
::But.. the coolest thing about her?
Lucy believed in the impossible.. even when everyone told her it was a foolish and childish game.

Guys. She's a queen.
Queen Lucy the Valiant.

Call me a Narnia Nerd... but I still want to be like Lucy.
