Introducing Rilie and Michaela...

I want to introduce you to two of the biggest blessings that I've been given the past couple years.
This is Rilie.
The first time I saw her walking into the Physical Science class about 5 years ago, my initial thought was.....
......."I want her hair."
She had the prettiest red hair and the most charming smile and joyous laugh. And all I knew is that I wanted to be friends with this happy and beautiful girl.
So over the last 3 to 4 years, I was blessed to get to know her better. We had a lot of the same classes together and I remember we had our first real life talk one afternoon outside during a study hall we had together. She told me about a boy (that's how ALL girl friendships start) ....and well....I guess just then we sorta mutually decided we were gonna be good friends.
Let me tell you something...Miss Rilie is one of the strongest girls I know. She's faced with trials that I would never want to go through. But through the hardships and tears, she always pushes through and continues to hang on to God. It's inspiring. I want her trust in God and her faith that no matter what knocks you down, God will always pick you back up and give you the strength to keep going.
And the cool thing is...even if she is having a tough time, she'll always be there for you when you are struggling. Every time. She's so very giving of herself. It's a beautiful thing.
Her joy is so infectious. She is one of the brightest rays of sunshine that I've ever met.
Words cannot describe how so very thankful I am that I became such good friends with the gorgeous red head.

Here we have Michaela.
I met her last year and I found out that she was taking the same Literature class that I was. I thought that was pretty cool cause she seemed really nice.
As soon as I found out that she loved Mountain Dew and that she was a firm believer that chocolate and peanut butter should NEVER be a combination EVER......I knew we were going to along just splendidly.
We started hanging out a lot during our Junior Year and we got to know each other really well through talking about life and giving each other all kinds of advice. I was pretty excited to find another friend.
It's absolutely amazing to see how much Michaela has grown into a beautiful young woman in just a year. She goes through so many life lessons which shape her into a smart young lady on her way to do great things. Through it all, she is constantly proving just how strong she is. Michaela is made of tough stuff!!
She is always laughing. Always smiling. Always cheerful. She has a heart of gold and is always eager to help anyone.
I'm so very glad that I have been able to get to know her through the last year or so. She made it one of the very best years ever.

SO THERE THEY ARE!!!
Two of the biggest joys that I have been blessed with.
The coolest thing is that I get to graduate with them.
And even cooler? They are both staying in Nebraska after graduation.
Which means.....there are only going to be even more wonderful memories to make with these ladies.
