Keep Shining.

Once. I had a friend tell me he felt worthless.

"Cause even the stars, they burn. Some even fall to the earth. We got a lot to learn. God knows we're worth it..."

-----

One friend told me he didn't feel loved by those who should love him most.

"Some say we need a miracle. Some say there's no hope at all but I know that your love is strong. It goes on and on and on and on. Rise up when it gets us down. We'll be the voice in a blaring crowd cause we know your love will bring us home. It goes on and on and on and on."

-----

Another friend said she couldn't figure life out.

"I am not skilled to understand what God has willed, what God as planned."

-----

The other one, she is going through a really hard family situation.

"I won't give you more, more than you can take and I might let you bend, but I won't let you break..."

-----

I had a friend say to me that she was hurting. A lot.

"Every time you run, every time you hide, every time it hurts, every time you cry, every time you run away, every time you hide your face, and it seems so far away, I'm right here with you."

-----

I have pals who are having rough times. But no matter what, keep shining. Don't let your fire burn out. Once I had a friend who told me, "Keep smiling. Cause God keeps on loving you, your heart keeps on beating, and the world keeps spinning around."
I mean. God's got you. You are worth SO much to Him. He loves you to the end of the earth and back again. He has a wonderful plan for you even if you aren't sure what it is. He never gives you anything you can't handle. And He will always be there for you to lean on when no one else is.
It's a beautiful thing. It really is.

  1. all have been true for me at one point in life or another...totally helpless, hurt, confused, angry, watching the world as I knew it crumble to pieces, keeping on only because stopping was not an option...and pretending that everything was still okay. And He seemed so far away...but now I know that it was His strength that sustained me, not my own, because with men, these things are impossible, but with God all things are possible.

    1. Very very true, Ellen. Honestly, all things are possible with God and He will ALWAYS be our strength no matter how hard it seems sometimes. :)
