Drama is usually the result of talk. Talking. It happens all the time. Speech is powerful. The words we say could either lift up a friend or kill them.
I don't think people realize how powerful their tongue is. Proverbs 12:18 says, "There is one whose rash words are like a sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing." Oftentimes we let our words slip or we say things that we don't think can be hurtful. Proverbs says that rash words are like a sword thrust. The words we use every day are that powerful even when we may not think so.
Ephesians 4:29 tells us, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." The words we use every day should not have the purpose to bring others down or create unnecessary drama for it will only bring chaos. Gossiping about others is in no way pleasing to God yet it happens all the time.
So come on people. I know you can do it. Don't talk trash about another person. God is present in every single one of us. So when you're gossiping about one person, you're gossiping about someone made in the image and likeness of God. Just like you. So stop. Don't gossip cause it will only lead to drama which leads to broken friendships and families.
Our speech is powerful. Instead of using it for evil, we should be using it in a way that glorifies God.
