Profound?

Seeing as this is my first blog post...you would think I would write something profound. Yes?

Well. I'm not a profound person. Sorry.

I'm not quite sure why I wanted to start this blog. People have always told me I have a talent for writing well. Maybe this is true and maybe it's not, *shrugs* but I've never put this "talent" to use...with the exception of the occasional english essay. I must also confess that I've never been very committed to the number of journals I've tried to keep. So the question in my mind is whether or not I'll stay committed to this blog. It could be a success but it also has potential to be an utter failure. Whatever the outcome, to me it seems like an adventure.

And I like adventure.
